We have just returned from our first Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne. The show was an amazing experience and a huge success for both the organisers and The Gallery Eumundi with over 10,500 visitors joining us at the Royal Exhibition Building buying over $1.8m of beautiful art. It was great to catch up with old and many new gallery clients as well as friends and family resulting in strong sales for The Gallery Eumundi. Thank you everyone for your support!!

Michael Ciavarella is a ceramic artist, art teacher, cultural ambassador and entrepreneur. As curator and director of The Matchbox Show, he creates a platform for artists and ceramic enthusiasts alike to come together from all around the world. Michael is an advocate for cultural understanding through art and communicates such meaning in his artwork. His concepts incorporate national heritage and identity. As an art teacher he broadens students minds technically and theoretically. Creating a practical and professional environment for which emerging artists can elaborate on.
His latest works in Unsubscribe Part 2 explore identity and visual silence through abstract expressionism. A chance for reflection and reprieve in an over stimulated world. A collection of minimal paintings, all give a glimpse into the stillness of Michael’s mind. Opposite to life’s hectic adventures, Michael finds solace and therapy in minimisation and his painting process. A conscious silence, art making forces him into simplicity.
