Welcome to November's TheG News for the latest in stunning art, exhibitions and fairs. This month we are delighted to announce that The Gallery Eumundi artists Susan Schmidt and Rowley Drysdale are finalists in the fifth edition of the Local Artists – Local Content 2018 Art Prize. Drop into the Caloundra Regional Gallery to see the fabulous works of Schmidt and Drysdale along with forty finalists at an exhibition until Sunday 9 December 2018.

Dedicated to the memory of contemporary visual artist, art educator and collector, the late Lyn McCrea, the national award promotes excellence in contemporary Australian drawing.

Congratulations to gallery artist Paul Reynolds for being selected as one of only six Sunshine Coast artists amongst the 33 finalists for this very prestigious drawing prize. Visit the Noosa Regional Gallery to see close up Reynolds' The Old Man and the Sea of Gods and Monsters.
